    unsure if correct section

but basically i converted my mk2 furio to a vtr engine from a mk1 vtr (i thought i had a crossover furio and got told i bought a crossover engine but it seems i was totally wrong)

i had to get a crossover loom to get engine running
anyway it now starts (has flat battery though) but my fan doesnt kick in at all
the fan is a mk2 vtr fan but i have a mk1 vts radiator
could anyone tell me were im going wrong or what i need to do to sort it

i cant drive it anywere its off road and i have no license

Doe's the fan have the right plug thats on the loom?

    So it's connected?

My fan plug on my engine loom was different to my fan, so i had to wire in a switch to the dash.

    Ahh, That's how mine was.

So i just Cut the yellow and red wire at the back of the fan.. Did away with all the other wiring/plugs..

live from fuse box 15amp to switch inside.
Switch to Live on fan - yellow.
    Then earthed the red wire.

    Bingo, works.

oh thanks mate also while you here hah

my dials stopped working aswell when did conversion
i wasnt too bothered about that really tho apart from the water temp gauge i needed due to fan

so i bought an aftermarket gauge and that doent seem to work either. it powers up and so on but the temp doesnt go up
does the earth/ground go th the battery or the engine earth (the instuctions dont say)
