Sticky throttle pedal

The throttle pedal feels as if it's sticking slightly - you can feel it sticking through 'stages' when you push down slowly.

I've been told that cleaning the throttle body out with carb cleaner will sort this. I'll give this a try as soon as I can, but can anyone confirm this? Would it be anything else? E.g., throttle linkage, cable, etc - or would it most likely be the throttle body?

    Cheeaarrse!

Suppose so. How would I go about cleaning this though?

will be either the throttle body or the cable, you could try putting a bit of grease or something on the ends of the cable. I'd say its probably more likely the throttle body though!
