#2You can make a VT a flat arch if you want.
-
#3uuuuu no.lol.just wondering why they do it that all.thought maybe the shell would be lighter or summit????fuck no's
just curious -
#4didnt the super 1600's have wide arch kits on anyway? or was that the Kit car?
thought they were the same thing. -
#5basicali they where pure proformace machines, = light as poss,...
the had there own wide arch wings made from once piece > lighter then metal wing plastic trim.
there own bumers to match wide arches, again lighter then standard bumpers.
so you wouldt need the rear vt kit and dont need on front door as dead weight, and wouldt match, also if you gona strip it to a bare shell and replace every part on it why go for a more pricey shell just get pov spec one in 1st place, -
#6basically i need some wider arches for the wide track kit i might be getting depending on costs really n the maxi kit is the only non barry boy style i can find.
ideally id get some like in my avatar but i cannot find any1 to make them -
#7dont think they make the kit anymore.
if you did find some it will cost you thousands for all the stuff you will need. -
#8Theres a few places that sell the kit in europe and theyre reasonably priced aswell as much as a normal barry boys kit.
-
#9i have found a place in the uk that sell the full maxi kit in carbon or kevlar or grp.
however
its £1300 which is why i would prefere to get the arches like the ones in my avatar as they cut back in to the body -

#11Yeh that just looks like some cheap kit thing.
Heres one:
http://www.ac-sport.com/V3/
give me amin and il find another -
#13ye thats the place i found for the maxi kit but still way too expensive.id be fucked right off if i hit the tyres with all that on my car.lol.which is why i want cheapies.lol.
will just av a look at the ac-sports one. -
#14ye they only do the maxi kit aswell....although it is alot cheaper (£650 :-0) still looking at only spending a couple hundred quid
-
#15ever thought about making your own? or getting some custom made to go on a flat arch?
literaly just the arch extensions and weld them to the body then fill over and spray?
probably be alot cheaper. -
#16thats exactly what i wanna do but i dont have nowere near enough patience.lolQuote:ever thought about making your own? or getting some custom made to go on a flat arch?

tried it already with some series3 rs turbo arches n it went horribly wrong.lol. -
#17Use polystyrene to make a mould then fiberglass over it.
