How do these come off and where can they be purchased new (if I do indeed need new ones and cant salvage some)

    anyone?
  3. #3
Why you want to replace them they look fine... Just get new linkages.
  4. #4
Are they not just welded on?

    Whats up with them?

If its because they're in the wrong position you can usually get away with it, or just swapping one that can be unbolted. One of the gear linkages doesn't do anything apart from keep the other too rigid and support irc

Nothings wrong with those ones pictured as I just took them for reference from my diesel box - got a couple are missing from another box I have and I want to put new ones on it. They look like a press/push fit to me, the hole is not threaded

You may be able to get one from main dealer but it may be a case of you can only get them from another gearbox.

Do these unscrew or are they a press fit into the selector arms on the box?

I always assumed you had to change the gear selector etc if the balls were chewed up?

Just use the ones off your old gearbox?
