rear axle

going to have a look at a lowered rear axle tomorrow, its already of the car what do i need to look for? and will i be able to feel play in the trailing arms?

I would avoid it already if its off the car. A lot harder to tell even with wheels on, personally wouldn't risk my money.

As above, will be hard to tell if it's off the car.

Last thing you want to do is buy it, only to find it shagged.

Check over all the joints etc, don't pay what they're asking a you haven't seen it on a car so you don't know if it's decent ask about them giving you a warranty mate

I would only buy it if you can get it for a low price.

Whats low to you.. I wouldnt pay no more then £10 as saxo lowerd axels are prone to failure and its already lowered with no proof of it be ok..
