I have a Saxo Mk2 which i have problems with the fuel gauge.
When i turn ignition on/enging on the gauge bounces to the top 3 times then remains on empty.

I have tried re-earthing the green and yellow wire to one of the seat bolts, which does nothing.
I noticed there are 2 Green and yellow wires that are going to the sender under the seat - a thick and a thin?
Does anyone know what i need to do to fix this, it's really bugging me now - didn't want to waste money on a new sender if it won't fix it.
