#2you sure its lined up properly?
-
#3Using the right clamp? Use some exhaust paste as well to get a good seal
-
#4dont fuck about with gun gum and exhaust paste etc. its so crap i find
when my car had an exhaust leak at the backbox clamp, i went to halfords and bought some exhaust repair bandage, wrapped the join, and then put the clamp over the top of the exhaust bandage

#5Is it this type of bracket?

My janspeed backbox connects to the centre using the same one and blows slightly, just stuck a load of decent engine sealent around it and it now only blows very slightly. -
#6Lined up and using that bracket up there ^^, so exhuast putty ?
-
#7Yeah exactly the same clamp as mine. But with my piper I got an olive that sits in between the centre pipe and back box to get a good seal. Seal this in with some paste not any sort of blowing in the slightest

#8This is the olive im talking about. Gives a very good seal

#10The standand clamps are crap
never a tight seal.

#11I used my old clamp mate, was fine on my car.
