I have this awful looking petrol cap that I want rid of. Can anyone shed any light on how this is done? Is it as simple as ripping it off or do i need to follow the key removal guide on here.

hard to see from the pic, if its just a skin glued over the standard cap, then try and prise it off without damaging the standard cap below. Heat may help or some glue remover but then again it all depends on what its been adhered with

I have one of these on my car, mine has two clips on the inside, to take it off it means using a flat head and depressing one of the clips and it should release. Its how i got mine on so i assume its the reverse to remove it
