Map sensor q..

    Been having trouble with idling on my JP4S engine recently..

    I've changed the 2 TEMP sensors.. wasn't that.

    I also changed the MAP sensor, this was off a 8v.. which fixed it for a day, now it's doing it again.

    Am i right in thinking that VTS and VTR map sensor's are different?

    The sensor had a blue sticker on it, as did the VTR one.

    My engines running on a 3-plug ECU+LOOM, Which one do i need?

    Going to buy new as it's ridiculous cutting out at every roundabout.

    have you checked the icv aswell?. just go with the same part number whats on the original map sensor youve got. i changed mine a while back, got a second hand one off a vtr, and that was blue aswell but mines grey differnt part number, it works fine though.

    Yeah i cleaned the ICV what was in the inlet, that didn't fix it, so swapped it with one off my old engine, which i know works.
