Hows this gonna work. ?

   i have a nice dimma grill I've just sprayed posi. It also has a intake cone in the mesh... Is there any one with an idea as to how i Can get it to actually intake air cause obviously on a Mark two the grill lifts up With the bonnet so it would pull away from any attached hose.

   You wouldnt be able to do it, and the radiator and fan is behind were the grill sits when the bonnet is down so theres nowere to run an intake

   maybe i could sit a hose down to line up with where the cone is when bonnet closed ? Seems silly to have it there just for show ?

   i bought it like it you see. Suppose i could remove it and do the mesh again but i Cant be arsed. Its fine as it is.

   I think your idea of laying down an intake hose would work because once the bonnets shut the grill is right infront of the slam panel so you could just attatch the hose to the slam panel, not like it really needs to be connected it will get the air through as long as its close enough

   Yeah thats what i was thinking..... Not actually attaching the pipe, Just sitting it in such a way that when the bonnet closed it lines up perfectly with the grill.

   Yeah, sounds pretty doable to be probably just take a bit of fiddling about lol
