   is there only one type ? or are there different kinds which is better if so ?

   blacktop with coil pack on end of the head-earlier cars 90bhp
   silver top single plug ECU with coil pack over plugs later mk1 and early mk2 90bhp
   silver top 3 plug ECU with coil pack over plugs and cat in downpipe later mk2 98bhp

   i will need option 3 to make my life easy as i have a 3 pin ecu on my car already.
