yes you can fit a 1.1 box but i would say your best bet would be to fit a peugeot 106 rallye gearbox. thanks

All saxo/106 boxes fit 1.1 wouldn't be much different and they're a weeker box, only boxes worth fitting I'd say would be a rallye or xsi if you can source one

Im selling an s1 rallye box currently
has a nice quaife limited slip diff in it too so youll get better traction only done 1000 miles since it was fully rebuilt

The VTS box is very similar ratio's to the 1.1 box.

    So not much point..

Although i've got a 1.1 on my vts, but that's because I couldn't get the S box in time..

No they are a lot different. The difference is in the final drive hence why the 1.1 box is quicker.

S1 rallye box is rubbish - way to short, spin the wheels in first and second then top out at 110. Good out of a roundabout though. rubbish on track too, people hit the limiter on the straights!

VTS is ok, but dampened my VTS too much. i'd go for a 1.1 everytime. much better kick at 4k plus you get the top end as well.

Ahh, I didn't really pay attention to the final drive, just know that they are similar speed's on the limiter in each gear.

Is fun with the 1.1 box and 16v!
