Quick one about BHP

    When car BHP figures are stated on standard cars are they through the wheels or at the flywheel?

    some quote @ wheels, others @ fly.

    And for the record the figures quoted are NOT BHP they are PS. which is a European measurement.

    an example being Renault Meganne 225. 225PS not 225bhp

    Around 1%

    100bhp is about 101Ps

    the closer to 1000bhp you get the biger the difference though obviously.

    I have a conversion somewhere i will get us a link. All our equipment is in PS you see as its brandnew and is the base figure on standard cars.
