Apex spring and damper kit help needed

  1. #1
Hi just purchased a spring and damper kit form apex at euro car parts for £212!
Anyways I have fitted springs to my saxo in the past as I was just wondering if anyone has a pic or advice on how to fit the new damper as to me the current oem damper appears to be one piece. Do you remove the current damper from the strut body and slide the new one into it or what? Thanks guys
    Pics up soon

you take the threaded collar off and the strut comes out, you need a big pair of stilsons to take it off or the proper tool, which no one one ever uses/or have even seen lol

There is a big nut which holds the shock in the strut. This can be removed with a big pipe wrench or simular. Many uses molegrips.

Heres a picture where the nut has been removed....
