I just stole a full set of Brembo Disks and Ferodo pads from my store cupboard at work (dont worry i'm only stealing off the Taxman)

I will take photos and review the combination soon.

Had mintex pads on the vts calipers but i can't remember what discs they were, didnt have any issues, they worked well and people on here seem to recommend the mintex stuff. When i fitted the 266's i used brembo discs and ferodo pads, i obviously cant compare the performance as they are bigger now but the quality is spot on and havent had any trouble also. I would say you would be fine with either, both are decent makes so just see which you can get cheaper?

I've had the 266mm setup on my car now for a few months with mintex pads and discs all round and I can't fault them. Always managed to stop even after 10+ Milton Keynes roundabouts...

I cant fault Mintex stuff as I use those on all my road going cars in the past up to my current ones. Ive found them to be quite dust prone however. As long as you stick to a good brand like brembo, mintex, ferrodo or pagid I dont think you'll have a problem, plus they all make pads for road and track use should you want it.
