yet another problem , help .

   Okay was out in my saxo around an hour ago, my mate went onto a back road and sped upto around 50mph, I did the same and was in second gear with the revs getting high , then it started back firing like fxck and died and coasted to a stop. I turned it over for a while and it didnt start. But when I turned the ignition off then back on it started up straight away. Its done this 3 times in the last two days so any ideas ?

   fly wheel sensor??? mine was loose and when revving it was all over the place. or theres wate getting into your coil pack and effecting the spark

   Could be that I will take it off soon. It doesnt have a coil pack as its a mk1 1.0 :-D any other things I should check ?

   may be due a service. check the spak plugs arent covered in oil. there is a list of things and knowing these cars itl be something very stupid. just check everything to do with the fuel, injection/carb, and electrical systems.
