Important! : Gearbox drain/fill plug

   After my Gearbox thought it would be a laugh to shit the drain plug out on the dual carriage way..
   I'm in need of a new one. But I can't find anywhere that sells them or the size of them- which is ideally what I need.
   
   Searched on here for the size of the plug, but to no avail.
   Anyone know the size? Is it the same size as the Oil sump plug?

   I'm gonna nip to Peugeot tomorrow as its local..But knowing my luck they'll have no clue.

   i know the female square part to undo it is 8mm if that helps to narrow down your options? Alternatively phone up your local dealer and order 1 via them?

   I would..But the nearest one is about 25miles away, and My car has no gearbox oil/drain plug in to get there.. Haha

   go out 2 am and pike one lol only joking i think i mite have 1 on a scrap 1.4 furio box will have a look 2moro i might not though because i mite have just chucked it when i drained oil cos i knew it was never gonna work again

   I have a suspicion it may be the same size as the oil sump plug..But I cant take it out to check

    i got my sump plug off with a 24mm socket

    Its not that I cant get it out, its more the fact if I do nearly 4 litres of Oil will come billowing out Lol

    Wonder around and find a poor unsuspecting saxo and permanently 'borrow' the plug from that? Make sure your chosen victim is standard height so you can just go under without jacking it up
