hi all;
only new here and am rebuilding a vtr engine at present to go into what was originally a 1.1 106
only problem im havnig is that the big end bearings i removed from the vtr engine have holes in them to allow for oil access, the only replacement bearings i can seem to get my hands on are soild and dont have the holes in them,
the mains bearings ive got have holes in them the same as the mains i removed from the engine so they are not a problem.
my question is, is it ok to use a solid bearing in place of the ones in the big end that had holes in them as standard?
cheers
