vts wheels compared to vtr 1s

   i was just thinking (its a proper thread dw )
   
   when i had my vts i knew the back wheels was rather chunky
   
   and it got me thinking cus when my vtr back i want some S alloys and just wondering are they thicker the the R alloys
   
   only reason i ask is
   on my punto the standard wheels i had was thinner then the GT 1s i replaced them by and my punto a sporting which meant to be like a GT just with the 1.2 16v engine :/
   
   
   are S alloys thicker then R alloys?

   s wheels are 1" bigger, and take a 195 tire whereas the vtr ones take 185.
   
   so they do look fatter from the back, which looks better

   i know the 15s and Rs are 14s i mean the thickness Ss thicker then Rs

   do you mean how wide they are? im having trouble understanding what your asking lol

   arent the vts wheels like 6.5 inches and vtr 5.5inches wide?

   I always thought vts wheels were wider but according to the citoren software I have they are both 6"

   oh really? is that the citroen parts software?
   
   dont vtr ones have to be smaller if they take 185 tyres?

    Yea Citroen parts software, I'm just as confused as you are mate I thought r rims were 6inches and vts rimswere 6.5inches, but apparantly I was wrong lol

    soo i just get VTS bolts aswell
    
    ive made that mistake with my punto my standards steels are skinny as hell compared to the GT 1s nd the bolts just gripped the hub :/ live and learn
