engine management light

    driving home from college in the lanes earlier and there was a hedge trimming tractor spray bits of stick onto the road and i ended up going through it and all of a sudden eml came on car still runs and sounds fine. dunno what to check first no clear sighns of any problems where should i start looking

    After cat sensor if your car has one, get a code reader on it

    i cant atm because i got no money to take it into the garage and mums still in work but is there anything that you lot think could be the reason ?

    car backfired earlier and kicked out a load of black shit thats all around my exit pipe on the back box and lights gone off
