really loud noise

   When I started my car today it was making a really loud noise and gets louder if you press on the accelerator and ideas I asked on of the mechanics on my camp and he said it's probably just cold any ideas?
   
   The.noise comes from the engine

   What sort of noise ? Metal banging, sqeeking etc...

   Like a loud revving noise but even when but it sounds too loud to be idling

   possibly an engine or a gearbox mount is worn

   found where the noise was coming from under the engine the exhaust pipe has a hole in roughly the size of an egg, whats the best fix for this?

   Replace it or get it welded..

   i thought the loud noise was the exhaust byt turns out it was engine top mount ...if u can really feel a lot a vibration with the noise then check that too matey
