Important! : sudden knocking

   a 2000 1.1 saxo, when driving usually on the 1st gear, a sudden knocking happens as if the car has been switched off for a few seconds.
   can anyone help me, any ideas where the problem is coming from

   Can you hear where the knocking is coming from?
   Like, from a specific wheel arch, gear box or the engine?

   Is it when you let of the throttle? Mine done it turned out to be the gearbox mount
