Well I've scrapped the couler gunmetal grey now and done gloss black and I've done a wide mouth bumper , I'm going to get all my picks together and make a progress thread a progress thread,it took about a hour to prep and sand back the cover

Definitely something I will be doing in the future, I like the solidity in the white, but I will probably go two tone.

I love the way you have changed it to gloss black as well. I might have to take that! Nice work.

I think you might have problems with the paint peeling off the bumper. Did you sand the bumper and then plastic high build prime it to take the texture off of the bumper?

I'll await what Bedfordxxx says, he knows all about this sort of stuff.

I am thinking about doing my bumper trims, the paint is starting to flake off in a couple of places and it's fading also.

looking good like the colour as most people pick red!! Any more plans?

Looks ok that mate the rocker could have done with some chemical metal filler in places where the rust has pitted the metal but you done a good job.

The bumpers look goo but if you plan on doing any more painting i would advise against Hycoat paints as they fade quick an have no protection from uv. Try stick to brands like U-Pol, Bodyline, Sikkens aerosol.

thanks for advice, i sanded the bumpers to a extent yes, used plasticprimer then grey primer , ive scrapped the grey color u see in pic and redone them in gloss black, look in progress, shouldent peel anyway. if it eventuly does ill redo it, also i did body work for 2 years , cheers for comments lads, ps meltal filler would of been good but hey
