   Saxo has jus been reassembled dash put back inetc, when I connect battery alarm will click once them go off bland when I lock with the fob and unlock it will do it again straight away. Have snipped the sensor wires to see if that would change it at all but to no avail still the same, anyone Amy suggestions need to get this moved asap standing beside it now in a cold shed lol. No ignition lights show when I put key in and turn but starter will turn

   Try and disconnect it?

   disconnect the black box under the dash just behind the lower console

   Tried disconnecting it (black box with 2 large connectors into it and a small red and small White connector) with battery off the car as it was going off constantly, reconnected battery and it went off instantly, very frustrating

   yes thats the one just leave it disconnected all the time

    Disconnected, then battery hooked in the alarm went off instantly not even the enitial click just straight off.. So was no good mate

    can you not remove it from battery completly?

    That doesn't stop it going off, with no plugs to that box, it still goes off instantly and cannot start the car

    Similar but at the left hand side there was 2 seperate wires that plug in, one red and one white plug side by side

    Where abouts is that box in relation to the fuse box? and is there a very similar box in that area? lol because what i removed was near identical except for the smallest plug there

    98% of alarm problems are caused by bad earth ...

    pop into halfrauds and get the door switch sorted. costs £30 i think. normally 2 wires too

    ah only 2 wires i know that but i wont be giving halfords money, useless shop lol. Have a saxo im breaking will have to check must have a switch sitting somewhere

    will be checking earths and trying to remove the alarm unit again tomorrow, fingers crossed
