My Insurance ?

  1. #1
Wasnt sure whether to post this here or the insurance section but.....

Currently insured on the VTR and been looking to buy an Mg Zr 2.0 diesel. I paid my insurance in one lump sum and it still has 7 month left on the saxo. If i buy the MG is it a straight swap over and just pay if its that little bit extra?

    Cheers Guys

im with admiral and there really good with things like this, my dad got a new car last year and the woman couldnt be more helpful, he paid 80 quid but that was only because he wanted breakdown cover,

also when i told them i had a full licence last year it only went up about £100, that was including breakdown aswell, and i was only 17

you would have to pay the extra..... why wouldn't you? otherwise wouldn't we all just buy insurance for a shitty corsa then change after a month to a vts....you will have to pay the extra mate.

    Read before posting

I asked if its just a straight swap i never mentioned trying to get cheaper insurance. I only wanted to see if it was just a matter of calling and swapping without having to do anything more as some guys on here have probably done this before

Head gasket problems here u come ?
  14. #14
didnt think the diesel MG suffered the Head gasket problem,
  15. #15
The diesel MG's don't suffer from head failure but do read up on tractor syndrome (I think that's what they call It)

Generally speaking the diesel engines are bomb proof.

Ive looked into the vvc but with how things are nowadays cost wise its more practical for me with the diesel model. Better Mpg ' cheap road tax band on the 2 litre model and my insurance is just about the same as the saxo. Where the vvc model is the complete opposite.
