How easy is it to lower rear torsion bars? How long is it likely to take me, what do i need, and what is the easiest way of doing it? do i have to take them off completely to adjust them?

just warning you, the one on suzukituning suggests just using the bolt to pull it out, if its very siezed Ie mk1 saxo thats never been lowered, it may be siezed to fuck and you may run the risk of wrecking the threads on the bar

Why's everyone always 'search search search'?? Y'know the more you tell people to search the more the Information needed gets buried behind a load of torsion bar threads telling people to search!

Ryan. If you haven't attempted a Torsion bar before then the chances are you will fail.

I can lower your torsion bar for £60, the correct way and it's guaranteed to be done in an hour.

Ok mate cheers! iwill take you up on that offer. Where abouts are you from? I fitted coilovers to my corsa b, so assume doing the same on my vtr to the front would be fairly similar?

but yes with the torsioin bars, if you can do it, that would be great!

If you've never had experience with torsion bars before, then I wouldn't reccomend you to do it. Anything can go wrong.

Best chances find a specialist to do it.

Down south Kris B is your best option.
West and East Midlands Willsy will do it.
Up north I'm not sure of.
