Hi guys, I recently got a quote of £300 to re attach my front passenger side arch and respray the scratched wing as well as do this to my bonnet.

Just wondering if thats a reasonable quote iv never had any bodywork done and thought it was quite cheap.

Your going to have some problems with a bonnet like that no air getting to the engine.

Passenger side arch is just clip's takes 2min's to do
And if your wing is scratched buy a second hand one for like 20quid and attach yourself

But bonnet is up to you i suppose

tbf i dont think the bonnet makes much difference to cooling on a saxo as you have a big enough opening on the bumper.

Im just going on what i got told when i asked for review's on bonnets like that

Also if you want a bonnet this is 120 + 20 for the colour you want = Arch buy a few clips £2 = Wing £20 = £162 giving you a saving of £138

Only time you will have a problem with cooling is at the lights but you look to have the twin fan set up anyway's so wont be a problem. Price sounds about right for what you wanted painting.
As to the above personally I would try avoid second hand parts because there is very little chance of the paint been a good match bonnet to wing so its best to get the tops of the wings for colour blend if you plan on getting a half decent match.
