Filling bumper holes?

Just wondering how would I go about filling like fog light holes and things like that?
I want to fill it then smooth, but obviously I can't just stick a load of filler in there it'd just crack, how would I go about doing it?

Plastic weld a piece of plastic in behind (or inside if your good) the hole off a scrap bumper or similar (you can melt it to the bumper using a soldering iron right round the edges as you hold it to it)

Then use Flexible filler (bumper filler it can be sold as) its unreal how much it will flex before cracking! and apply and sand etc as normal. Make sure your supporting plastic you affix to the back is secure! if done propperly it should flex as the standard plastic areas do with no cracking

    Nice one cheers mate.

Would this be the same even for something like a grill? Instead of doing a meshed grill would filling it work?

Fog blank plates are better to weld in than plastic piece's as there the correct shape and makes the job easier.

I wouldnt fill the grill mate, unless you make a new cold air feed. As said get some fog blanking plates from somewhere or off someone whos putting fogs in then plastic weld around them

I know the op has the vt front bumper, but personally i`d just get a front bumper in the same colour off a saxo that doesn`t have the front fog lights, would be cheaper.
