Cd Player Memory + Ignition power-up

   Right i have to turn my headunit on manually, doesnt come on with the ignition and also it does memorize any of my settings/pre-sets.
   
   i tried swapping the yellow and red power leads but 4 hours later my battery was dead...:s
   
   Any ideas?

   i think the red is the permanent live for keepin your settins and preset radio stations. not sure what colour the ignition wire is tho. even with the permanent live connected it shouldnt drain the battery.

   Check the earths on the radio connections.
