   Right just had 16v converstion done its got newman ph3 cams and a piper 4 1 but thing is it wont idol would this be because of the cams well it idols sumtimes but really badly any adive would be helpful

   Cam's make the car idle dodgey or not at all
   Im no machanic but i have read a few of these threads now and all the answer are usually remap it and problem is solved

   Should idle mate, but be very rough and lumpy
   
   Seeing as you have a 16v conversion done double check and clean earths.
   
   Bad earths cause idling issues.
   
   If cams are timed up correct, then it's electrical.
