#7My dad is an electrical fitter so getting me some 25mm cable with crimps
I don't know mate but I'm sure you can buy them separately from an electrical wholesaler

#8Yea, i had a look at work but no cable or crimps big enough, gonna measure up and make sure i get the right size terminals etc. Any decent audio sites? I usually use caraudiocentre.

#9Im a sparky, and i doubt you will get ring terminals for 25mm cable... The cable is for meter tails.. However if you have a Maplins or halfords.. look in the car audio section and you will find some gold terminals like these....http://www.maplin.co.uk/ring-terminal-98813
Will take 25mm cable in... Your best to solder the connection if possible... Do this with a plumbing torch, flux & plumbing solder... This will give you a trouble free long term connection... Crimping is fine, but will be near impossible to do without a big tw*t from a hammer or such like lol

#10I meant to say 'i doubt you would get ring terminals that size from an electrical wholesale place, such as CEF...'

#12House hold 25mm tails you can get from an electrical factors for approx £3-5 per meter...
Car audio cable, Maplins do it by the meter, at around the same price... If not then ebay.. You want like 2awg or 2 guage...
If i had a choice between the two, id pick audio cable all day long.. Its flexible, unlike the solid stranded household stuff....1 user thanked this post: -
#13Would doubling up smaller gauge cable not work the same?
