obviously furio mirrors are just black, with no caps, what would i do to get caps that fit my car, as the mirrors dont have slots, would i have to make slots in the original mirrors, or just glue them down ?

#5Much easier just to buy the caps and glue them on mate, as said above snap the clips on the back and stick them on, I just super glued mine on and they haven't budged and I've had them on about 6-8 months.
-
#6Nahhh shouldn't cost a lot at all matey
-
#7just get the caps pal few quid from scrappy and glue them on it will be fine
-
#8My furio came with caps.
When I had my 1.1 forte I got my standard mirrors and drilled out the inserts for the caps
Look at this #17 http://www.saxperience.com/forum/sho...ght=cheap+mods
But yeah was rather bit of hassel getting the correct place, I would say glue them if your up for an easy job but drill if you want them to stay on, if none just get both mirrors.
Cutting out the inserts for them = long but good job/ caps stay on
Glueing them = easy, quick job/ caps possibly come off after a while

#9I had the same problem & ended up using superglue gel.Quote:obviously furio mirrors are just black, with no caps, what would i do to get caps that fit my car, as the mirrors dont have slots, would i have to make slots in the original mirrors, or just glue them down ?

#10I got some good silicone from work soo mine ain't come off over a year now
-
#11+1 Silicone
My caps came free off this dickhead woman who had the same colour car as me -
#12Two options...
Get VT mirrors and put them on ya car
Or
Find some caps, cut off the clips and bond them to your own mirrors. -
#13Go with Puds second option. Easiest.
-
#14yeh mate i seen your thread last week, which kind of inspired me to get caps lol.Quote:My furio came with caps.

#17are you talking about the gap that may appear just under the headlight trim? meaning the bumper is slightly dipping?
-
#18yeh mate thats it?
-
#19Well I undone 2 bolts on the bumper under the car, pushed the bumper up towards the headlight while tightening them up, it made the gap go away. Where the 2 bolts are there is a little bit of room for the bumper to move back or forward. Very easy to do and you will see the 2 bolts under the car on the bumper if you look
hope thats kind of helped
-
#20where abouts under it? like in the middle or is it behind something?
-
#24Bond them on. I got a pair and clipped them in, and some cunt robbed them.
