Coilovers

im thinking about getin coilover for my VTS, but just wondering how to fit them? cos to me they look quite hard to fit due to the design on the saxo front suspension.

Is there a guide on how to fit them anywhere? ive search on google but cant seem to find anything

    Simples!

Take the complete strut of the front. Compress your standard spring and undo the top nut. Take the top mount of and spring. Undo the cap for the damper and the damper will just come out. The bottom spring pan knock that of few taps on a hammer.

You'll be left with a bare hub, next put the coilover damper into the hub, screw the adjuster on the bottom were the cap use to be. Put the spring on, put top mount on and screw the top nut on.

Done! Really really easy my friend!

if you know how to remove springs and dampers then its basically exactly the same procedure. Except with coilovers all you do is tap off the bottom spring pan and slide over the threaded collar in its place

can you tap the spring pan off on 1.1's aswell as vts's instead of grinding?
