Rear Light Tinting?

   Just wondering really, whats the worst that could happen for getting pulled for rear lights being too dark?
   
   Can you get points, or is it more of the point of removing them or whatever?
   
   Want to put them back on after the guy who failed my MoT for them told me to put them back on in a couple of weeks, lol?

   Do mk1 lights fit mk2? Or am i thinking that 106 lights dont fit Saxo's??

   Normally only a fix it note or a fine like Manu said. Though the Police do have the option to take things further. They could say your vehicle is unsafe and they could issue a prohibition notice on your vehicle. Then they could take your car off you. There will be sizeable charges to get the vehicle back and if you don't pay the vehicle would be crushed. Or if there in a rather ratty mood they could report you for an offence (these is a few they could pick from) and you could end up being prosecuted with rather large fines, points, ban or prison a possibility though highly unlikely.

   ^^^ and they should. I have seen a few cars, so heavily tinted you couldn't see the brake lights. Effing liability.
