I have one and very big problem with 1.1l petrol engine use ~10l/100km, in normal drive. It's insane!
Could it be that the fuel pump has an effect on fuel consumption?
I need help, how can reduce fuel. Post any advice.

Are you actually Putting 10 litre's in? or £10?

Is the engine management light on?

I suspect it's overfueling, due to a ageing cat or faulty lambda sensor.

Do you use the car for short journeys?

Short journeys = Car not heating up to optimal temp meaning more fuel is being used
Quick acceleration and fast driving = Fuel consuption drops dramatically

Treat the car to a nice serivce, also some people would disagree but use some redex

    Yes 10 litre's.

The light of engine management is off.

About over fueling, i don't think that.

    - Yes, about 30km/day

    In summer
Then i bought the car i don't look at all how mush use petrol and was just made technical inspection, show that normal, in document. In winter i start count km, ant i saw 100/10litre's. I was thinking i driven aggressive...so i try normal drive, the numbers of km same.
