   thrush bearing. its warpped, wen clutch was fitted, it was ragged about in the first 1000 miles probz which causes it to warp ( most common cause of it ) nout to worry about unless the noise bothers u. but not major

   as above, but its "thrust" bearing,not thrush. also it will develop into a problem when it melts and you have no clutch, most common cause is nothing to do with ragging it in the 1st 1000 miles,the most common cause is the dog-shit design of them

   soz for spelling as im a spastic lol.
   
   Also us of bad design.
   
   I had a clutch replaced on my 205 gti last year and the garage said it will warp if not worn in at normal speeds.
   
   Just repeating garage advice (even thou most of them r shit) lol
   
   But would agree that a replacement is a gd idea

   thanks everyone now i no wot it is so i can get it dun becuz dnt want to cause problems later on and paying out big time for it cheers
