Help!! Won't start

   got a saxo 1.1 and the other day she decided that she is not going to start on the key, i get a click (i think is the solenoid) when i turn it but nothing else. i can bump start the car and she'll work like a trooper until, i turn it off or stall then i'm back to square one. i've checked the battery, alternator, starter motor all seem to be fine, this has left me scratching my head, i've tried to locate the spark plugs but for some reason cant see any lol. any advice or help would be ace thanks.

   I`d say your starter motor has had it,but try the simple things 1st like charging your battery overnight mate.

   i've charged the battery and tested the voltage running through when its running and when its not. i'll try the starter motor and see what happens cheers

   hi i had the same problem when i first brought my saxo changed the battery and alternator on a saturday still no joy then i fitted the starter motor on sunday and its been fine ever since then so i would say its your starter motor.

   this happened to me when i left my car for about a week, it had a flat battery. used my dads car to jump start it and it was fine from then on, changed the battery though. sorry if not much help

   well as weird as it sounds was on my way to my mates garage for him to have a look this morning and as if by magic, she turned over on the key first time, no coughs sputters nothing!! i recon its something to do with the cold weather recently, thanks alot guys
