Induction Kit / Oil Breather Filter

    Hiya Guys,

Ive looked around on the search button before anyone jumps out and says "use search"...i cant get a clear answer.

Ive won a pipercross induction on ebay and doesnt have the pipe for the oil breather thing. So ive bought a Oil Breather Filter, and when i looked under the bonnet to see where it goes, ive worked out it pops on top of the main part of the engine, but what happens to the pipe that was orig there?

Its connected to the throttle body (i think), is this ok just to be left an open hole? and where does the pipe lead to after that? looks like it goes above the front wheel?

Would i be better cutting the pipe and putting the filter on the end of it??

Sorry for all the questions but ive spent loads getting this car back on the road and i dont wana fuck it up over something so stupid.

    Thanks in advance,

    Dave

Take a picture would be easier to explain what you mean but your breather filter needs to be connected to the rocker cover as you explained but there should be a T piece so you can still have the recerc pipe on and connect the breather to the other side.
