Knocking under drivers footwell

when driving at around 40-50+ I start to get a knocking noise which sounds like its rotational was wondering if a bad driveshaft could cause this?, its on my mk2 vtr. I had an issue with it pulling to the right aswell but that now seems to have stopped and just have the knocking instead.. or what else could it be?

Sounds like the intermediate bearing on the D/S Driveshaft, it's held in by two golf club like bolts.

Get some gearbox oil, and a D/S from the scrappy and replace, cheap fix, that way you won't spend £stupid money on a new one if you don't need it.

Is there any way of checking if it is that or do I just have to replace it and see? cheers
