Unused plug, footwell beside fusebox vtr mk1

   white rectangular plug in my VTR in passanger footwell that isnt connected to anything, cant find anything to connect it to. Alarm box is still plugged in as is immob box
   
   Car isnt starting, wondering is this anything to do with it
   
   The connector comes off a bunch of wires like the small end of a T, and has very little cable from the join to the connector but cant find anywhere close to it that it should plug into
   
   Will get pics when im next up at the car, anyone any ideas? have i missed a connection somewhere?

   Long shot but white plug somewhere near the fuse box could be a Inusrance box thing.
   A mate has one in his car and its a white plug

   Looks the same as standard plugs mate and comes off the main loom, long shot as you say lol
