My rocker gasket is fucked, can this cause mayo under oil cap or is my head gasket fucked?

Mayo can be caused by condensation, it doesnt always mean head gasket

the car has been sitting since October but I took it for a spin for about 20min the other day, car was heated and was still a bit smokey. Noticed oil around the gasket and down the side so I was curious if it could also be that

But if its been sat in the cold since october then you might be lucky (Y)

get a compression test done at a garage. or just buy a tester off ebay. doesnt take long at all

its common to get some mayo under the cap on the baffle (under the rocker cover) at this time of year when its a bit chilly outside

Clean off the mayo check the oil level & take it for a good run.

compression test won't show a fault if its just oil/water mixing, only if its losing compression into the cooling system

oh? i thought that was the same thing
