temperature gauge going mad

   ok when i start the car it goes up then down 3 times then stays then when driving goes up and down randomly its all over the show to be honest. anyone know a fix for this?

   Had this loads of times mate!! on different saxo"s,you have the wrong car battery on your motor,what amps you got on the battery?? tbh.......

   Sorry mate(not being sarcastic)but surely this is down to a faulty temp gauge sensor on the thermostat housing?I`ve had the same problem & changed the sensor & the problem was cured.

   I'd be going with temp sensor.. I've got a huge diesel battery thats been on my last 3 (Saxo 106 Saxo) and never had a problem

   Mate ive seen this problems loads of times when i use to work as mechanic at my local citreon dealers,you can change the clocks,coolant sensors,thermstat,and there problem stil there!!

   When your nexted over collecting parts miles,ile check your battery mate........
