Hi i bought a 2000 saxo furio as a runabout for a while it has just passed its mot with flying colours and is in over all good condition.
I have however noticed the floor is wet when it rains i checked this out by removing carpets and the sound proof underlay just fell to pieces due to it being soaked so i removed it.
i checked for any obvious signs but couldnt find any, not when it rains i have a slight puddle in the rear foot well behind drivers seat and slightly wet in the front, which i suspect is just water traveling via the carpet from the back.
sun roof is fine no water seems be coming from sills as the carpet is dry around the edges i was thinking maybe a seal has gone and running down a strut to the floor pan? until the weather drys up i cant have a proper look or removed carpet again so im stuck with wellies for the time being any advice would be greatly apprciated
