Alternator belt tension

Have an occasional squeek from the front of the car somewhere when idle, guessing it's the alt belt and it does feel a tiny tiny bit loose, how do i adjust the tension? i know there's a hex bolt that i have to turn anti-clockwise but can i just do this? as i've seen some people saying about 2 13mm bolts i need to loosen or something?

If you're missing the tensioner bolt, you'll need to physically push the tensioner up, then nip up the two 13mm bolts.

Nice one, so i do need to loosen the 13mm bolts before i do anything? i can't just use the tensioner bolt?

The two 13mm bolts lock the tensioner in place. Loosen those, then wind the bolt out the tensioner underneath and it'll push it up.

If that doesn't solve the squeaking, see what sort of condition the crank pulley is in. When the rubber starts to go in them, they wobble and make nasty noises on startup.

Then tighten the 13mm bolts back up?
    Cheers buddy

    Yep. No worries.

It's all in that link I posted.
