headlights

   I have just finished spraying the inserts on headlights and going to put it back together i cleaned the chrome insert with a wet cloth and the chrome came off and left a yellow primer under neath what can i paint this with or will i need a new one ?

   I would just sand them down with fine grade wet and dry and then just spray a few layers of paint on, it wont require primer or lacquer as its inside the headlight casing.

   how would the light reflect without that shiny bit he has rubbed off?

   Just mask up the indicator caps and if you look at my lights Ive left the "inner reflector" part but sprayed the rest, hope this helps

   The bit what has come off is the bit you do not paint. I am just going to get one from scrapyard because one of brackets is broken and put the insert in what I have sprayed.
