getting a boosted car through MOT

   hi there. i just wiondered if a boosted car will go straight through the MOT with the cat designed for the car. im only running 7psi. will the car pass directly through or will i need to upgrade the cat?

   as long as it has a visable cat and low emmissions i dont see why it wouldnt pass

   so tell me you have a vts turboed running 15 psi. what could you use as a cat upgrade from that?

   Before you take it for MOT get it into the garage & ask them to put the car on the emissions machine.That you`ll have an idea & some leeway of where to go as regards cats/set-ups.

   the cat is, if anything over active.
   so it will work for stock, and running slightly too much fuel.
   
   if you have the stock cat, and running a boosted set up, with a high fuel mixture expect the cat to be fucked anyway.

   i have a screamer elbow that opens at 3k rpm anyway so hopefully theres some life left for this year lol
