fuel pump problems ?

   hi guys, basically my car keeps cutting out when im driving, when im trying to start it again there is no fuel pump prep noise, if u know what i mean ?
   it occasionally comes does make tht noise an thats when it starts again,
   
   do u think its the fuel pump, or maybe the wires connecting it ?

   either the pump or relay is at fault. quickest and cheapest to change the relay first (and have a gander at the wiring incase its shot) and if that doesn't work then its a new pump. they're not the hardest thing to change but fiddly nontheless
