Recommend me some HID's!

    Hi,

I'm after a set of HID's, tried getting them through 2 group buys now but both disappeared for some reason!

I'm not entirely clued up on them so don't want to risk getting some crap from eBay (unless you know of some on eBay that are any good?)

So, where can I buy them for around the £50 mark?

    Thanks ,
    Dan.

as much as i am against them... i do want to retro fit some 6.5k to my Leon. and 8k to the R6.
i have 6k on the XJR and they are awesome!

having to get them through an mot doesnt bother me but srsly, i would do the complete conversion and wire up washers.

    I literally don't care.

Thankfully, I have received a PM from a very helpful member who has helped me out with what I asked for.

decats and speeding are illegal but people still do it.

best place to get them from is,
    http://www.hids4us.com/index.php?rou...ory&path=64_59

Ive bought a set from there and my brother has and they ahve been excellant. My brothers unit failed after 2 years and although out of warrenty, all they wanted was a picture of the wires cut between the bulb and connectors. They then sent out a another unit free of charge.

May be slightly more thatn the cheaper ebay ones, but when you've got customer service like that (most ebay ones are from China so you;ve got no chance), you cant really moan. The civic Type R forum i am members on got these and the super slim ballast pack from hids4u (which are about £120), and there is no difference in quality.

    Cheers mate, so these:

    (35w)

    (55w)
    http://www.hids4us.com/index.php?rou...&product_id=60

    ..?

I was after 55w really, and £80 is a bit too much really :/

I guess, I only had to buy one set as they are bi-xenon in the civic.

no they havnt, and soon will be on a saxo and alot of other vehicles but fine on others.
if you read my second past it says i use them, and want more but its worth doing a complete conversion and getting the right equipment, i.e washers, lenses and heigh adjusters. a conversion that isnt possible for the saxo.

and if 80 quid is too much, i can get the same units from the links above, for 50 delivered..
which, are good units and are the ones i use, and will continue to use.
