Help saxo wont pull away

   Hi have a saxo vtr on 2001 plate, im not sure whats wrong with it but the car wont pull away when it is in gear, i take my foot off the clutch and nothing happens, the clutch and gearbox are fine. I think it could be my driveshaft or a mount somewhere, its been juddering for a week now when i try to give it throttle and it died this morning. Can anyone help????

   Sounds like your clutch has gone to me, I think you'd know about two snapped driveshafts!

   the pedal would feel floppy would it not?

    yes, if cable snaps the pedal hits the floor

    you only need one bust shaft to loose drive though

    Could be a naff gear box mate...
    mine done this and i thought it was the clutch
    turned out needed another gear box :/

    any odd noises? how do you know its not clutch or box?? my diff went with a bang and i thought it was the shafts

    how does the clutch pedal feel?
    hard, soft sticky?
    
    is it noisy?
    
    my car doesnt work...whats the problem ?
