dash lights

   yet another problem, my engine management light is always on when i start the car its a saxo 52 plate vts. the car runs fine just like normal, ny ideas on what it could be? or is this a common fault in these cars and they just need to be turned off? had this problem on a previous car it was a corsa sport. and also another orange light stays on not sure what it is but it looks like a car with tyre marks behind it, any ideas?

   Get the fault code read, should be a cheap fix seeing as the car is running fine anyway.

   Sounds like abs maybe?

   Yeah its the abs light, get a garage to coderead it, it'll most likely be one of the sensors

   i'm no good with cars as you can probably tell but the mot is due next month and will it be a fail with that light on? is it an expensive job for the abs sensor?

   Yes it will fail, they're about 40 quid new plus fitting if a garage fits it
